LG Electronics hat heute den komplett überarbeiteten LG Application Store vorgestellt. Dieser hat nicht nur ein neues Design, sondern verfügt auch über doppelt so viele Apps als bisher.
Die mehr als 3.000 Apps sprechen nun nicht mehr nur Leute mit einem Windows Mobile Smartphone an. Auch wer ein Feature Phone wie das LG GD880 Mini hat, wird dort künftig Apps aus den Bereichen Social Networking, VoIP-Telefonie, Navigation, Instant Messaging und natürlich auch Games wie Spore, Sims 3 oder FIFA 09 finden. Gegen Ende des Jahres wird der LG Application Store auch um Google Android Apps erweitert.
Seit heute steht der LG Application Store bereits Nutzern in 23 Ländern weltweit zur Verfügung. Bis zum Ende des Jahres 2010 wird der LG Application Store nicht nur auf rund 4.000 Apps erweitert sondern soll auch in 33 Ländern der Welt verfügbar sein. Der Launch des LG Application Store in Deutschland ist ebenfalls für Ende dieses Jahres geplant. Sobald es dazu Neuigkeiten gibt, erfahrt ihr dies selbstverständlich auf dem LG Blog!
